Did you know there were Blue Eggs? I didn't. Not until brunch yesterday. There was a card on our brunch table indicating the restaurant used local Araucana eggs that are blue. Blue? Apparently the eggs are from South American chickens calls Aracucanas. The chickens raised here are free range. All I noticed was that my eggs tasted much better than a regular egg.
Today while at Whole Foods I saw the infamous blue eggs. I decided to pick up some for my own cooking. They come in packages of 6 for about $4.00.
