I am not so much a fan of exotic fruit. Or at least I never was. But a few years ago I was in Cairns and a friend offered me this prickly spiny fruit. I didn't want to offend her so I accepted it. I brought it with me on my diving trip. At the end of the day I was starving, enough so that I took a risk and tried this fruit. It was just sooooo yummy. Since then, I've become a convert. Although it's not as good here as it was there, it's still yummy :)
